From D/FW Airport (DFW)
Follow the South Airport exit signs and continue south on Highway-183 West for about 10 miles. Stay left on Highway-183 West as it turns into Highway-121 South; keep left and follow signs to "Downtown Fort Worth." After about 8 miles, merge left off Highway-121 onto Interstate-35W South (signs will indicate "Waco"). Take Exit 46B off I-35W toward Seminary Drive. Turn right on Seminary Drive and travel about 1.5 miles. The seminary is on your left on the corner of James Avenue and Seminary Drive. Cross over the James Avenue intersection; turn left off Seminary Drive at William Fleming Court into the seminary's main entrance. Turn left on West Broadus, followed by a right turn onto Stanley Avenue. The MacGorman Performing Arts Center will be on the right, across from the Riley Center. The closest parking is located behind the building.

From Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL)
Start out going southeast on Cedar Springs Road toward Aviation Place. Turn right onto Inwood Road. Turn right onto N. Stemmons Freeway, merging onto I-35E North via the ramp on the left. Keep left to take Highway-183 West via Exit 433A (signs will indicate "Irving/DFW Airport"). After about 28 miles on Highway-183 West, it turns into Highway-121 South; keep left and follow signs to "Downtown Fort Worth." After about 8 miles, merge left off Highway-121 onto Interstate-35W South (signs will indicate "Waco"). Take Exit 46B off I-35W toward Seminary Drive. Turn right on Seminary Drive and travel about 1.5 miles. The seminary is on your left on the corner of James Avenue and Seminary Drive. From the north: Denton, Gainesville, Oklahoma City
Take Interstate-35W South (signs will indicate "Waco"). Take Exit 46B off I-35W toward Seminary Drive. Turn right on Seminary Drive and go about 1.5 miles. (CAUTION: The intersection of Seminary Drive at Hemphill Street has a steep dip: if you are towing a trailer or driving an RV, cross Hemphill Street carefully). The seminary is on your left on the corner of James Avenue and Seminary Drive. Take Interstate-35 North toward Dallas/Fort Worth. (I-35 splits east and west at the town of Hillsboro; stay left and take I-35W North toward Fort Worth). Off I-35W, take Exit 46B toward Seminary Drive. Turn left on Seminary Drive. Go about 1.5 miles. From the east: Arlington, Dallas, I-45, Longview, Shreveport
(NOTE: In most cases, following Interstate-20 is the most direct route to Southwestern Seminary from the east. If you are coming on Interstate-30 from points east of Dallas, take Highway 635 South from I-30 and connect with I-20.) Take Interstate-20 West. Take the Interstate-35W exit - Exit 437- toward "Denton/Waco", but stay right after exiting off I-20 and quickly merge onto I-35W N / US-81 North toward "Fort Worth." Just under a mile on I-35, take Exit 46B toward Seminary Drive. Turn left on Seminary Drive. Go about 1.5 miles. Take Interstate-20 East, following signs to "Dallas/Shreveport." When Interstate-30/Highway-80 splits off, stay right and follow I-20E. Take the Crowley Rd / FM-731 exit - Exit 436A - toward James Avenue, and turn left (north) onto Crowley Road as it passes underneath the I-20 overpass. After Crowley Road emerges from under the overpass, follow the road as it bends slightly left and turns into James Avenue. To locate the seminary's main entrance, follow James Avenue through the stoplight at Fuller Avenue, and turn left at the next stoplight at Seminary Drive. Turn left off Seminary Drive at William Fleming Court into the seminary's main entrance. Turn left on West Broadus, followed by a right turn onto Stanley Avenue. The MacGorman Performing Arts Center will be on the right, across from the Riley Center. The closest parking is located behind the building.

  • The main parking lot is immediately south of the MacGorman Performing Arts Center.

Bus Parking

  • Buses may drop off at the Stanley Avenue entrance and park at Gambrell Street Baptist Church (south parking lot), which is on the corner of James Avenue and Gambrell Street.
